SkillKids Community Guidelines

Welcome to SkillKids! We are a community where you can learn, shine, and share your talent. To keep our classes fun and safe for everyone, all students must follow these important rules.

Part 1: Staying Safe (The Golden Rules)

1 Keep It Private

Never share your personal secrets in the chat or on video. This includes:

Your full name (first and last)
Your phone number
Your home address
Your school name
Your passwords

2 Be Kind & Respectful

SkillKids is a hate-free zone. We do not allow bullying or mean comments. Always treat your teacher with kindness and respect.

3 Clean Language Only

Use polite language. Bad words (swearing) or inappropriate topics are not allowed during your live classes.

4 See Something? Say Something!

If anything makes you feel uncomfortable during a session, tell a parent immediately or use the 'Report' button. Our Safety Team is always here to help you.

Part 2: Classroom Etiquette (How to Shine in Class)

1 Be on Time

2 Camera On, Microphone Off

Video: Keep your camera ON so your teacher can see you perform.
Audio: Keep your microphone MUTED until it is your turn to speak. Use the "Raise Hand" button if you have a question.

3 Be Prepared

Have your notebook, instrument, or art supplies ready before class starts.

4 Focus Mode

Class time is for learning! Please put away toys, snacks, and other distractions so you can focus on your teacher.

5 Respect the Learning Space

Positive behavior helps you get the most out of your session. Staying focused and respectful ensures you and your mentor can make every minute count toward your progress.

SkillKids reserves the right to suspend or remove any student who repeatedly breaks these safety or conduct rules. Please review these guidelines with your child to ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all.
