Student Enrollment Policy

A. Acceptance of Terms

By registering or enrolling in any SkillKids course, including the trial pack, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this policy, as may be amended from time to time. These terms apply to the parent or legal guardian acting on behalf of their child.

B. Description of Services

SkillKids provides live, online co-curricular classes for children aged 5 to 14, delivered through virtual classrooms by qualified instructors. All classes are 1:1 and 45-50 minutes in duration. SkillKids offers a structured, curriculum-led learning experience across the following courses: Art & Craft, Keyboard, Guitar, Coding, Python, Chess, and AI & ML (ages 9 to 14 only).

To access our courses, you will be required to create an account and provide the following information: child's name, child's age, email address, and contact number.

C. Course Plans & Duration

1. Skill Levels

Courses are structured across four skill levels. Your child's starting level will be assessed and assigned based on their age and prior experience.

Level	Description
Beginner	For students with no prior knowledge or experience in the subject.
Intermediate	For students with foundational knowledge looking to build on core concepts.
Advanced	For students seeking in-depth understanding and technical mastery.

2. Course Packages

Following the trial pack, full enrollment is available in the following packages:

3. Validity Period

All sessions included in a course package must be completed within the validity period of that package. The validity period begins on the date the package is activated.

Extensions to the validity period are not available as a matter of right. Extensions may be considered solely at our discretion in the following circumstances:

• Unavailability of instructors scheduled by SkillKids
• Public holidays as declared by SkillKids
• Technical disruptions attributable solely to SkillKids
• Unforeseeable circumstances beyond your control

D. Payment

1. The trial pack is a one-time payment of $25 and is non-refundable once purchased.
2. Full course enrollment fees must be paid in advance. The billing cycle is determined by the course package selected.
3. All prices are in USD.
4. SkillKids does not store your card details. All payments are processed through an encrypted, PCI-compliant payment gateway.

E. Class Scheduling & Cancellation

1. Each session is 45-50 minutes and will not be extended beyond the scheduled time.
2. To cancel a scheduled session, you must notify us through one of the following channels within the prescribed timeframes:
   • Student dashboard: Cancellation request submitted at least 1 hour before the scheduled class.
   • Email: hello@skillkids.com, at least 4 hours before the scheduled class.
   • WhatsApp: +1-555-900-4649, at least 4 hours before the scheduled class.
3. If no cancellation request is received within the timeframes above, the session will be treated as attended and deducted from your package.

F. Instructor Assignment

SkillKids assigns instructors based on subject, availability, and your child's skill level. While we make every effort to maintain instructor continuity, SkillKids does not guarantee assignment of the same instructor throughout the course. In the event of an instructor change, we will notify you and ensure a smooth transition with no disruption to your child's curriculum progress.

G. Course Completion & Certification

Upon successful completion of a course package, your child will be issued a course completion certificate. For Keyboard and Guitar courses, students may also be eligible for Trinity College London graded certification, subject to examination requirements.

H. Student Conduct

SkillKids is committed to providing a safe and respectful learning environment. Parents and students are expected to:

• Attend classes on time and prepared.
• Treat instructors and SkillKids staff with respect.
• Not record, share, or distribute class sessions without prior written consent from SkillKids.
• Ensure a suitable learning environment with a stable internet connection, a working device, and a quiet space for the child during class.

SkillKids reserves the right to suspend or terminate enrollment for conduct that violates these expectations, without refund.

I. Privacy & Data

SkillKids collects personal information solely for the purpose of providing educational services. We do not share your personal data with third parties. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

J. Amendments

SkillKids reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. Updates will be communicated via email and published on this page. Continued use of our services following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
