Everything you need to know before you book

The trial lets your child experience the class, meet their instructor, and decide if it's a good fit before you commit to a full course. It removes all the risk. If your child loves it, enrolling takes 2 minutes. If not, you've lost nothing but $25 and an hour of your time.

You can try any of our courses: Art & Craft, Keyboard, Guitar, Coding, Python, Chess, and AI & ML. Each course has its own structured curriculum.

After the trial, you decide. If your child wants to continue, you can choose a full enrollment plan: Quarterly (24 classes), Half Yearly (48 classes), or Annual (96 classes). If you decide not to continue, nothing happens. There is no automatic enrollment and no follow-up charges.

No. The trial pack is a one-time payment of $25. Your card will not be charged again unless you actively choose to enroll in a full course. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no obligation to continue.

Each class is 45 to 50 minutes. This is long enough to make meaningful progress each session while staying within a child's natural attention window.

Right after you fill in your details, you'll see a scheduling screen with available time slots. Times are shown in your local timezone. You pick what works for your family. If none of the available slots work, reach out and we'll find a time that fits.

Classes are held via video call. You will receive the class link over email before the session. No special software installation is required. A laptop, tablet, or desktop with a stable internet connection and a working camera is all you need.

Yes. All classes are 1:1, which means the instructor adapts entirely to your child. Faster learners get stretched. Children who need more time get it. No child is held back by or left behind a group.

Our support team is available to help resolve technical issues quickly. If a class is disrupted due to a technical fault on our end, the session will be rescheduled at no extra cost.

Most courses are designed for children aged 5 to 14. The AI & ML course is available for ages 9 to 14. All content is age-appropriate and adjusted based on the child's age at enrollment.

This is one of the most common concerns we hear, and our instructors are specifically trained for it. 1:1 classes are far less intimidating than group settings. Instructors use games, storytelling, and gentle activities in the first session to help children settle in naturally. Most shy children open up faster than their parents expect.

That's completely fine. The trial exists precisely for this reason. If your child doesn't connect with the subject or the format, you simply don't enroll. No awkward calls, no cancellation process, no charges. The trial is finished and that's that.

All SkillKids instructors are subject experts who go through a structured onboarding and vetting process before teaching. Each instructor specialises in a single subject and is trained to work with children specifically, not just in the subject itself.

Yes. All payments are processed through an encrypted, PCI-compliant payment gateway. SkillKids never stores your card details on its servers. Your financial information is handled entirely by the payment processor.
